What is the horse soda trick?

A viral label, not a proven method

The “horse soda trick” refers to social-media drink mixtures built around gelatin, baking soda, salt or lemon. There is no standard recipe, and claims like “fixes low testosterone” or “works overnight” go far beyond the evidence.

We do not recommend adding baking soda to drinks for wellness effects. If you want a measured daily routine, a labeled supplement is an option — not a treatment, and not a shortcut.

Baking soda adds significant sodium and may interact with medicines. See our references.
